CM: Torino not giving up hope regarding midfielder but convincing Milan will be difficult

By Oliver Fisher -

Torino still harbour hopes of keeping midfielder Tommaso Pobega beyond the end of the season when his loan expires, according to a report.

Milan made the decision to send Pobega out for a third loan spell after previous experiences with Pordenone in Serie B and Spezia in Serie A, and given that the Italy U21 international has stepped up to the plate again the management will be smiling at his development.

According to Calciomercato.com, the signals from Milan in recent months towards Torino regarding keeping Pobega have not been positive, but the Granata still have hopes of being able to keep him beyond the end of the season.

The formula agreed last summer was a simple dry loan but head coach Ivan Juric is happy with how the 22-year-old has done under his tutelage and would like to keep him. Nonetheless, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara believe in the qualities of the player and convincing them to sell Pobega will not be easy at all.
