GdS: New suitor comes forward for Milan centre-back – Rossoneri willing to negotiate

By Oliver Fisher -

A lot of the focus at the moment is on potential signings for AC Milan, but sales will be needed to finance them such as defender Mattia Caldara.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have the task of finding new accommodation for the players that are no longer considered part of the technical project, which in turn would boost the transfer kitty either through the fee received or even through wages freed up.

Andrea Conti and Mattia Caldara are among those who are expected to depart this summer after disappointing in the last couple of seasons due to numerous injuries. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), interest in the latter is gathering as Torino carried out first enquiries with Milan for the centre-back.

The Rossoneri are ready and willing to negotiate the sale of Caldara to the Granata and while Venezia had also come forward in the last few days – in addition to Cagliari being linked – Torino could have an advantage if they opt to pursue a permanent deal rather than just a loan formula.
