The AC Milan squad reconvened at Milanello this afternoon to begin preparing for Sunday’s game against Fiorentina, and a fitness update on several players has arrived.

MilanNews reports that after the two days of rest given by head coach Stefano Pioli following the late heroics against Lazio on Sunday night, the Milan players were back in at Milanello this morning to resume training ahead of Sunday’s match against Fiorentina.

Ismael Bennacer and Zlatan Ibrahimovic did an individual session and will be evaluated in the next few days to understand whether or not they will be available for the game against La Viola. Ibrahimovic played the last 25 minutes against Lazio, getting an assist for Tonali’s winner.

On the other hand, Alessandro Florenzi’s recovery is going well in relation to the schedule envisaged after his second knee operation of the season, and he was back on the pitch running which indicates a positive step.
