Training resumes tomorrow for Milan amid four games in eleven days

AC Milan got back to winning ways yesterday as they managed to beat Hellas Verona by the odd goal. Therefore, they also got the day off from Stefano Pioli but they will be back at the training ground tomorrow.

The Rossoneri have started the season well overall, with four wins in five league games, and will be looking to build on the crucial win against Verona. Two very hectic weeks are on the cards, with four games scheduled for that period.

As said, the players were given today off by the manager and they will be back at Milanello tomorrow. The game against Cagliari is scheduled for Wednesday evening and the Rossoneir will then take on Lazio at the weekend.

The week after that, they will face Borussia Dortmund and then Genoa both away from home. In short, the players were probably very happy to get the day off. Starting tomorrow, though, only hard work is accepted.

  1. Four games in 11 days, i’m very curious how Pioli will make rotations, if he makes rotations. Pioli is just allergic to play young and new players, he prefers to stick with the usual ones, hope it wont blow our head off. Hope we wont lose any other player to fatigue or injury.

    1. “Pioli is allergic to play young and new players”

I swear some Milan fans have serious problems with their eyes.

Yesterday against Verona, Pioli just played Musah (20 years old) from start to finish and debut Bartesaghi, a 17 years old from Primavera. Okafor (23 years old), Pobega (24 years old), Thiaw (22 years), Reijnders (25 years) was playing too.

And 3 days before Verona, Pioli started Chukwueze (24 years old) against Newcastle.

We can go back to the first season match if you want where Pioli started 3 new players; Pulisic, RLC, and Reijnders against Bologna. Then he sub Giroud and Pulisic with Okafor and Chukwueze.

“he prefers to stick with the usual ones”

You mean he stick with his KEY players just like other coach. I’m glad Pioli is Milan coach, not you or some wankers who thinks they’re a genius because they can play Football Manager.
