The AC Milan coaching staff are ready to give the midfield pairing of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer another run out against Lille on Thursday night.
Milan will be looking to take back the top spot in Group H with a win over Lille in the Europa League on Thursday night. The Rossoneri will be missing some important players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rafael Leao and Alexis Saelemaekers, which has forced Stefano Pioli to make a few selection decisions in view of the game.
According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Pioli still seems willing to change his midfield pairing for the game despite the fact there are no absences.
The Rossoneri coach – who will be replaced by Bonera in France given he has COVID – will use the Bennacer and Tonali pairing again. The hope is that they will give rhythm and quality to the double pivot.
