Tuttosport: Adli stars and eight others impress during hammering of Wolfsberger

By Oliver Fisher -

There were a number of impressive performers during AC Milan’s 5-0 win over Wolfsberger in Austria last night, a report has outlined.

Milan needed a response after a dreadful start against ZTE in Hungary at the weekend and they really did put their hosts to the sword with a fine performance in Klagenfurt. You can see all five of the goals here.

According to reports from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the best player on the pitch last night was Yacin Adli, who scored a goal not long after half time and got an assist for Ante Rebic’s tap-in to make it 2-0 before the break.

There was an excellent performance also from Rafael Leao, who already seemed to be in good condition and scored the opening goal, appearing very lively and determined in his 45-minute run out.

Pierre Kalulu was good in the marking phase given the amount of space the Rossoneri left in behind, while Davide Calabria – who provided an excellent assist for Leao’s opener – Rade Krunic, Junior Messias, Ismael Bennacer, Ante Rebic and Matteo Gabbia all received praise.
