Tuttosport: Agreement close Milan intensify talks over Chelsea midfielder – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have intensified contacts with Chelsea over the return of Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, according to a report.

One of the priorities for the management appears to be to strengthen the midfield, as Pioli will continue with a 4-2-3-1 but alternatives to Kessie and Bennacer are needed.

The name of Tiemouè Bakayoko keeps being mentioned, a player who left the Rossoneri a year ago after a successful loan spell, but whose profile has always remained an option.

According to reports from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have intensified contacts with Chelsea for Bakayoko in recent days. The Blues are asking for €20million, while the Rossoneri do not want to go pay more than €15million.

The paper adds that it is possible that an agreement will be found on the basis another loan, this time however with an obligation to buy set between €10-15m.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) meanwhile are reporting that the Frenchman has essentially agreed personal terms.
