Ismael Bennacer’s contract will expire in 2024 and given his importance, AC Milan are keen on securing a renewal as soon as possible. Recently, the midfielder had a meeting with his new agent.
A few weeks ago, Bennacer decide to leave his current agent and become a client of Enzo Raiola, who has taken over the business from the late Mino Raiola. A move that most interpret as a clear signal to Milan regarding the renewal.
According to Tuttosport (via SempreMilan), Bennacer didn’t have to travel with the team from Milan to Dubai last night as he was already there on vacation. He also recently had a meeting with his agent, Enzo Raiola, to discuss the future.
Bennacer has always made it clear that he wants €4-4.5m to renew his contract with Milan, who won’t be able to make use of the Growth Decree tax relief. After returning from Dubai, Milan will schedule a meeting with the midfielder and his agent, likely to make a new serious effort.
