Sven Botman is the No.1 target for AC Milan this transfer window, there is no doubt about that. The Dutchman is considered the ideal profile to replace the injured Simon Kjaer, who will miss the rest of the season.
In the last few days, the rumours have been many regarding Milan’s interest in Botman but they have all, more or less, come to the same conclusion. The operation is difficult and that was reiterated by Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning.
Milan have received the go-ahead from Botman, whose Italian representatives are keeping contacts alive with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. The problem, as alluded to, remains Lille and their demands.
The Rossoneri consider €30m too expensive to spend thus window and they are working on a loan formula. Lille are having none of it currently, but they could perhaps open to a paid loan with an option/obligation to buy as the month progresses.
