AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is willing to give Charles De Ketelaere another chance to prove himself during tonight’s game against Cremonese at San Siro.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirms that De Ketelaere will play as the central attacking midfielder tonight against the team who are second-bottom in the table, with the hope that he can finally make his mark after a very disappointing season so far

It is an important opportunity for the former Club Brugge star who will have to demonstrate to his coach that he can also count on him for the season finale in which Milan have a lot at stake domestically and in Europe.
His debut season with the Rossoneri has be negative so far, but the campaign is not over yet and the hope is that Charles will finally be able to unlock himself mentally, perhaps with his first goal.
Although he has been a great disappointment so far, the management have no doubts about his future because nobody at Casa Milan is thinking of selling him in the summer, or even letting him go on loan.
Everyone still believes in him and hopes that he can follow in the footsteps of Rafael Leao and Sandro Tonali, who – after a complicated first season – exploded the following year.

What’s the point in playing him. The guy hides from the ball and runs into a crowd and just stand there all game. Literally does nothing positive or negative, it’s like playing with 10 men. So tell me please, what is the point in playing him more?
Honestly at this point I think CDK should be the one who is sold/ sent on loan.
Keep Adli and give him some game time.
We are not using a no. 10 now anyway, so Adli would be useful if we change things up or play him in midfield.
That way we can focus on a striker and RW.

We are not playing the Number 10 because CDK and Adli have struggled. CDK on the pitch and Adli maybe in training as he’s not got game time. I’m hoping they both come good next year. If not sell them then. Im hoping they improve like Leao and Tonali.
What’s your basis for keep mention Adli. He was only good at friendlies against inferior opponents and never show any glimpse of potential during few minutes he was on the pitch in Serie A against tiring opponents.
Leao got the same minutes as CDK in his first season. Pioli gave him more minutes in the second season and he really exploded in the third season.
Patience is needed. Maldini hasn’t got many wrong.
Poor CDK. He was not ready at all to move to italy. Last season when Pioli played Kessie and Krunić on AM was a big hint of the type of player he needs there. Now Bennacer is playing there.. Not Diaz, not Adli, not CDK. Might as well buy another DM like Amrabat, Hjulmand and forget about AM
