Tuttosport: Donnarumma and Raiola lay out two key conditions for Milan renewal

By Oliver Fisher -

One subject that is dominating a lot of headlines related to AC Milan at the moment is the future of star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Donnarumma’s current contract with the Rossoneri is set to expire in June 2021, meaning Milan have found themselves at a crossroads regarding his future just as they did back in 2017.

Elliott Management must try and find a renewal before the start of next season or strongly consider selling the 21-year-old, so as not to run the risk of losing him for free in one year’s time.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Donnarumma’s renewal is among the priorities in terms of issues that CEO Ivan Gazidis will deal with in the coming weeks.

In order to extend and stay with the Rossoneri, Gigio and his agent – Mino Raiola – are asking for both an acceptable salary and a solid and convincing project.

For both, Paolo Maldini’s presence was a guarantee, but his potential farewell at the end of the season looks increasingly likely.
