Eintracht Frankfurt are set to demand a big price for the permanent exit of on-loan Milan star Ante Rebic, according to a report.
The Croatia international has been nothing short of sensational since the turn of the year, netting nine goals in his last 10 Serie A games and 10 in all competitions.
According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri intend to try and sign Rebic on a permanent basis before the end of his two-year loan in June 2021.
However because not option to buy was inserted, an agreement must be found with Eintracht, who value the 26-year-old at the €40million mark, at least €10m more than the amount that Milan envisaged paying.
The management could try and use Andre Silva as a counterpart in the deal with the hope that the Bundesliga side accept a straight swap, but it is difficult to imagine at the moment.
For his part, Rebic is pushing to stay at Milan having relaunched himself in recent months.
