AC Milan are looking to rebuild their midfield this summer, and as a result, there could be some sacrifices made to allow that to happen, and a player that could be sacrificed for the rebuild is Yacine Adli.
Although Milan are keeping their midfield shape largely the same, there is a difference in the way that Paulo Fonseca is looking to set up his midfield. Under Stefano Pioli, it is possible that the Frenchman would still have a role to play, but with Fonseca, Adli’s chances are slim.
As a result, it is better to cash in on opportunities, and that is what is being attempted at present, with the Rossoneri effectively offering the midfielder away, and there has been some bites so far, most notably from Qatar and the Premier League.
As Tuttosport (via Pianeta Milan) writes, the club are working on exits, and Adli is a player who could have one on the horizon. An unnamed Qatari club have come forward, but it is Brentford who are ‘ready to make an official bid’ expected to be in the region of €12 million.
However, the paper suggests that the Frenchman would have to ‘open up’ to a move to England.
Somehow we get bids from England for players that don’t want England (eg Adli) and bids from outside England for players that only want to go to England (eg Ballo Toure)
Meanwhile bids from Saudi for a bunch of our players but somehow other clubs offload them for the money but our guys like Origi just stay put. Bizarre. We really can’t sell any of these stragglers.
Because Milan is the most beautiful club in the world and nooone wants to leave it.

If we upgrade Pobega with Fofana and just sign another good ST, I wouldn’t mind giving him time until January. if he still doesn’t develop enough just go for Ricci
Adli and Pobega are AM. Ricci and Fofana are bit different type of mids. So i would rather keep Adli as AM back up.

Pobega is needed for squad registration.
If RLC doesn’t manage to play good in his new role, than he should be sold with Adli. Doesn’t make sense to keep him if he doesn’t fit the system. Reijnders and Pulisic can play as AM, Okafor can play as second striker.
Sadly, it’s not a sacrifice at all, it’s a necessity as we don’t have squad space for him at the moment. Only other option would be a loan where he can decide in a year.
