Tuttosport: Florenzi working hard ahead of return – when he should be back

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been without Alessandro Florenzi since the end of August and an update has arrived regarding his recovery.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), the right-back wants to return to Stefano Pioli’s disposal as soon as possible after the injury sustained in the match against Sassuolo in Reggio Emilia, which has seen him sidelined for over three months.

The good news is that Alessandro Florenzi is continuing his therapies at Milanello in a positive way and things are going according to plan. However, the game or date that he will be back for is not yet certain.

The most optimistic prediction is that he could return to Pioli’s disposal in the first half of February, which means that he might well be back for the Champions League last 16 first leg against Spurs at San Siro, if all goes to plan.
