Tuttosport: Hauge not finding space but his time will come – the club strongly believe in him

It has been a whirlwind few weeks for winger Jens Petter Hauge, who completed a move from Bodo/Glimt to AC Milan in the summer window.

After his goal against Celtic a couple of weeks ago, the 21-year-old has now scored both for and against Milan in the same competition.

However, not long after that he was struck down by Coronavirus which forced he and Gianluigi Donnarumma to isolate at home and miss a couple of matches, but he is now back into the fold having tested negative.

Despite this, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports that even against Lille the Norwegian will not start and will instead take up a spot on the bench. He is struggling to find playing time, the paper adds but his time will also come.

Milan in fact strongly believe in the qualities of the player, who as mentioned has already opened his account for the club, and securing early qualification for the knockout rounds could help boost his minutes.

  1. Hauge must be given more than 5-10 mins a match. I wouldn’t mind seeing him come on for 20 mins against lille or Verona. Hoping he gets more time when we have an easier schedule in December.
