Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic could return a week sooner than expected – the latest on his recovery

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is once again aiming to amaze with his recovery time and could return a week sooner than expected, a report claims.

The Swede scored a match-winning brace on Sunday in the 3-1 win away at Napoli to move on to 10 goals for the season, but in the second half he suffered a thigh problem that some media outlets believed would keep him out for three weeks.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) though, nothing should be ruled out regarding Ibrahimovic’s recovery, after the 39-year-old revealed in an interview yesterday that he hopes to be back in ‘one or two weeks’.

The paper adds that Zlatan could very well be back on the pitch in 10-15 days instead of three to four weeks as expected. The target was to return to the field for Milan-Parma on 13 December, but it could well be that he makes the game against Sampdoria on 6 December.
