Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic sorry for Inter incident – he wants to show it with landmark goal vs. Bologna

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to put the game against Inter behind him in order to focus on getting three more points for Milan and achieving a milestone.

As Tuttosport reports (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic apologised for his part in Tuesday night’s altercation with Romelu Lukaku and for the red card that ended up costing his team the game. The clash with Lukaku was certainly ugly and unjustifiable, but it was an on-field thing that should not but can happen.

The Swede said sorry to his team-mates, who accepted his apology, but the best way of making it up to them would be scoring against Bologna and guiding his team to a win. Ibrahimovic wants to go back to being decisive and to do what he has always done: play football, and do it to win.

Pioli trusts the striker and is convinced that Zlatan will be ready. After the controversy of the last few days, Ibra wants to be talked about for his goals, and if he scores one more he will have 500 career goals with club sides.
