Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic’s relationship with Gazidis improving – the CEO has made admissions

AC Milan are moving towards securing the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic after a U-turn from the striker, according to a report.

For several weeks there has been talk of Ibrahimovic’s farewell to Milan at the end of this season, but now something seems to have changed, especially given that Ralf Rangnick will not be arriving and Stefano Pioli will remain as head coach.

Tuttosport reports on Monday morning (via MilanNews), that Ibrahimovic has a chance of staying at Milan now, but there has not even been any talk of the economic side of the deal, but it could happen in due course.

The fact Pioli is staying as well as director Paolo Maldini has made the Swede change his mind, and he has even partially patched things up with CEO Ivan Gazidis.

Zlatan has never hidden that he did not appreciate the way the club has been managed in recent months and he even expressed this in front of the South African manager during a meeting at a few weeks ago.

The impression is that this fracture, which seemed irreparable, is beginning to heal as Gazidis has had the humility to admit his mistakes and his faults and this was appreciated by Ibra.
