His arrival in January sparked a revival in fortunes for Stefano Pioli’s side after disappointing first part of the season, but the club are also well aware how powerful the Swede is from a marketing point of view.
Milan also know how much Ibra is adored by the Rossoneri fans and it is for this reason they chose him when presenting the new shirt, despite the fact his contract had not been agreed at that point.
The paper adds how it is not excluded that the Swede may also be involved in other commercial transactions with old and new club partners, as he is able to attract brands due to being such a well-recognised profile within the sport.
The club also hope that the stadiums will also be able to reopen soon because they are convinced that – thanks to the presence of Zlatan – the number of spectators at San Siro will be much higher than in recent years.
