Tuttosport: James Rodriguez willing to make sacrifice to join Milan – little resistance from Everton

By Oliver Fisher -

James Rodriguez is willing to accept a pay cut in order to secure a move to AC Milan this summer, according to a report.

The Colombia international is among the players linked with a move to Milan as they look for a new attacking midfielder who can fill the void left by Hakan Calhanoglu’s departure to Inter. This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that the 29-year-old is out of Everton’s plans and his agent, Jorge Mendes, has already got to work to find a new solution for him.

The newspaper adds that the former Real Madrid and Bayern Munich man would also be willing to lower his salary in order to quickly resolve the issue related to his future. Everton would not provide much resistance when it comes to transfer fee, given that they do not see him as part of their project moving forward. A situation worth following, it seems.
