MN: Isco more than just an idea for Milan – discussions with Real Madrid likely

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not discarded the idea of signing Isco for the attacking midfielder role and could hold talks with Real Madrid soon, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Isco will leave Real Madrid this summer as he is no longer deemed part of Carlo Ancelotti’s project. Real Madrid’s asking price is €20m at the moment, but this could be reduced via the inclusion of bonuses.

From Madrid there are also rumours of continuous contacts between Isco and Brahim Diaz, given that the two are great friends, but it has emerged that the former asked the latter about Milan as a club, the squad and life in Italy.

Despite this, the operation is now a low-cost one given the transfer fee that would be involved plus the salary of the 29-year-old, so the Rossoneri have not opened a real negotiation at the moment. He remains a very welcome name, and it is likely that the two clubs will talk about Isco again during the friendly match in Austria on Sunday.
