Tuttosport: Juventus ask for information on Chelsea midfielder heavily linked with Milan return

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to face competition in their pursuit of Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko as Juventus have asked for information, a report claims.

MilanNews reported yesterday that the work on the market will not stop after the six signings completed so far. The midfield department is still in need of bolstering because Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will leave for the African Cup of Nations in January, so two alternatives will be needed in order to deploy Stefano Pioli’s double pivot.

One is guaranteed in Tonali but the second is missing. Bakayoko’s return was mentioned as a very possible option, while it is Pioli’s decision is to keep Pobega and not let him leave again even if on loan.

According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews24), Juventus are looking for midfield reinforcements too, with Manuel Locatelli and Miralem Pjanic not the only profiles being taken into consideration.

In the last few days, the Bianconeri have taken information on Denis Zakaria of Borussia Monchengladbach and for Bakayoko, who has returned to Chelsea.
