Tuttosport: Kessie gives Milan his priority and puts big offer from Spurs on hold

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to negotiate over the renewal of Franck Kessie but some big offers have come from England, a report claims.

According to what it being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have no intention of repeating what happened with Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma, players of value that ended up leaving on a free transfer.

The Ivorian has asked for €6.5m net per year to renew but Milan have offered €5m, in a deal that increases incrementally every season, but there is still distance between the parties and it will need an offer from both sides to come together.

George Atangana – the agent of Kessie – has received offers from the entourage from two Premier League teams. One is almost certain to be Spurs, who have been after Kessie for weeks and have a big money €8m net per year deal ready.

Kessie has put the two large proposals received on stand-by pending further updates with Maldini and Massara. He has given his priority to Milan, hoping that the issue will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Is Kessie waiting to learn if Milan equals Spurs offer? Is this the context? Just like Donnarumma

  2. Joseph Mifsud says:

Offer them Aurier along with cash.

  3. qqq says:

Issue will be resolved when you accept 5 million, which is more than enough.

This guy all of a sudden got a star-fever.

GIVE HIM 6.5 Now some club will come and offer 9M and we’ll let him go for free

  5. Rodger says:

Time to sell Paolo. Well, the time to sell was earlier in the summer, but it’s not too late – you’ve got one week to get the best deal or he goes for nothing.

  6. Basten says:

Elliott Co. and All Milan Management want to offer Donnarumma $7-8M per season while Ibra get $7M per season without playing every matches, but can’t give a player (Kessie) $6.5M who sacrificed all on the pitch every matches; I don’t know why Milan management are treating Kessie has lesser player. If they let him go either on sale or free, they will regret it all, because player like him are rare to get. I’m pretty sure Kessie will get better pay for his hard-work from other teams.

They should sell him now and they see him rise and shine with other clubs and regret letting him go. Chelsea FC don’t joke with Kante and I don’t see why my beloved Milan should joke with Kessie. They should let him go and see the team weaknesses. Krunic, Tonali will take control 😀😀😀

Moreover, they are thinking of getting Man City’s B. Silva for around $50M+ in total deal, but can’t get Vlasic for total of $30M. I don’t know what this management are thinking.

    1. Juro says:

Well said. We will pay Ibra 7M for half season of games but not Kessie lol. Not sure WTF is going on. Looks like we are gonna loose Kessie and Romagnoli for free….same shit all over again. Fkn sad
