Tuttosport: Milan and Juventus both keen on snatching young Marseille midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could be set for a transfer battle with their fierce rivals Juventus as both have their eye on a Marseille midfielder, a report claims.

Milan’s French influence has been growing recently as the Rossoneri currently have Theo Hernandez, Giroud, Maignan, Kalulu, Bakayoko and Yacine Adli – who will remain at Bordeaux until the end of the season – as Frenchman in the squad, the most they have ever had at any one time.

This is because Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada made his name at Monaco by spotting the best young French talent, with Kylian Mbappé among them, and sporting director Ricky Massara is an advocate of dipping into Ligue 1 for some good pick-ups at great value.

It is no surprise then that Tuttosport (via MilanNews) write how Milan are interested in signing Boubacar Kamara, who has not yet renewed with the French side and is out of contract at the end of the season. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder – who can also play centre-back – is followed by the Rossoneri, but also by Juventus too.

  1. Pls do not lose him to Juve. Pls not another Kaio Jorge situation. Get him in January – a perfect replacement for Kessie who is as good as gone. Even if we have to pay a bit of a transfer fee to secure him in January we must do it. Pls don’t be cheap Elliott. We fucked up again and are gonna lose Kessie. Kamara is his direct replacement – and can also play CB – sign him at all costs. Kamara be Faivre for January and all is forgiven lol.
