Tuttosport: Milan and Rebic reach agreement – Ramadani goes to Eintracht with two options

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are desperate to keep winger Ante Rebic beyond his loan spell and make him a permanent Rossoneri player, a report claims.

According to Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Rebic also absolutely wants to stay at Milanello after enjoying the best scoring form of his career in 2020, netting 11 league goals to become the club’s top scorer for the season.

On Monday an important (perhaps decisive) meeting took place between Rebic’s agent – Fali Ramadani – and the Milan management. The paper claims that the parties have reached an agreement in principle on the contract that will bind the Croatian to Milan once his permanent arrival has been defined.

After the handshake with Maldini and Massara, Ramadani will now have to probe the ground with Eintracht Frankfurt and he will offer two options: either to immediately enter into negotiations for the permanent move or to delay it until summer 2021, when the loan expires.

All roads, however, lead to the same destination and that is Rebic’s confirmation. as a Milan player. Fiorentina will receive from 50% of the amount collected by Eintracht due to their resale clause, but that issue concerns only the Frankfurt club, which will have to find a “balance” between getting a good fee and not pricing Rebic out of his move.
