Tuttosport: Milan at work to try and broker deal for Real Madrid playmaker – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are at work to try and resolve the future of playmaker Brahim Diaz with Real Madrid, according to a report.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes this morning, the Rossoneri management are beginning to try and tackle the situations regarding the players who are set to depart on June 30th, with Brahim Diaz one of them. The young Spaniard has had an inconsistent season after arriving on a dry loan, but for his first year in Italy it has been quite positive.

Milan are trying to understand if there is a possibility of keeping him and for this reason Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have had contacts with Diaz’s entourage in recent days. Before going into any further discussion, however, the club want to be sure of participating in the next edition of the Champions League.

Maldini and Massara are satisfied with Brahim’s season and the player is happy in Milan, but his future will obviously also depend on what Real Madrid’s intentions will be. However, it is not excluded that Los Blancos agree to loan Diaz out for another season, but this time Milan could ask for an option to buy included.
