AC Milan are set for a long negotiation with Chelsea for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, a report claims, as the Blues will not lower their demands.
The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for the Frenchman as they look for midfield reinforcements ahead of a season back in European competition, with a number of sources claiming Bakayoko has his heart set on a return.
According to a report in Friday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have not let go of the idea of bringing Bakayoko back, two years after he joined on loan from Chelsea.
However, the paper adds that the management know that it will be a long negotiation because it will not be easy to convince Chelsea to lower their economic demands for the 26-year-old, who they shelled out €40million for three years ago.
It remains to be seen just how much patience Milan have in landing their man.
