AC Milan are all set to announce the signing of teenage winger Hugo Cuenca from Deportivo Capiatà, according to a report.
Since taking over the club, owners Elliott Management have placed a big emphasis on recruiting young talent that can be developed into future starts, as seen by the signings made over the last couple of years even for the academy.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are set to complete the purchase of the 16-year-old Paraguayan winger Hugo Cuenca of Deportivo Capiatà. The deal should be around €500k, and represents another step in reinforcing the youth department.
Milan have shown their willingness to stock the academy with young talent as they made make several interesting signings for the future during the last summer transfer window as three players arrived from Sweden whom not many knew a great deal about, namely Emil Roback, Lukas Björklund and Wilgot Marshage.
