Tuttosport: Milan face competition from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern for Rabiot

By Ben Dixon -

In recent weeks, AC Milan have made their stance known to Adrien Rabiot, but they are not the only elite side to do so, as a report has suggested this morning.

For years, Rabiot’s situation at Juventus has been similar to a see-saw – rarely stable, and every summer there seems to be some tangible developments in his situation. At the current moment, the Frenchman is a free agent, having not renewed his contract with Juventus, and now the situation will likely develop, given France have been eliminated from the Euros.

During the tournament, reports stated that no decisions would be made until the Blues’ elimination from the competition, so with that event occurring, we can now look to the future.

In recent weeks, the Old Lady have become frustrated in the negotiations, and despite Cristiano Giuntoli’s best efforts, an exit seems more likely than the Frenchman continuing in Turin. Therefore, the next question is where will he go?

Milan have made their interest known, and a report suggested that their interest was ‘real, true, concrete, and quite alive‘, and a report from Tuttosport (via Radio Rossonera) this morning suggests that several other clubs are surveying his situation, and Real Madrid are the main challengers. However, Liverpool and Bayern Munich remain in the wings.

  1. I’m sure non of that teams actually want Rabiot, he is a decent player but not more than that. We need a defensive midfielder, they already lost Weiffer so I don’t know who us gonna be that player. Also we should consider buying a good attacking midfielder if we want to play 4-2-3-1 Loftus is not a nr 10!
