Tuttosport: Milan continue work on Donnarumma’s renewal as details of pay rise emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are moving in the right direction regarding the renewal of Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims, and some figures have started to emerge.

As reported by Tuttosport on Friday (via PianetaMilan), the Milan management and agent Mino Raiola will soon get to work on a double renewal concerning Gigio and his older brother Antonio.

The former currently earns €6million net per season, and the newspaper claims that in his new deal that figure should rise to around €7.5million net per year. Antonio’s salary should instead be kept at €1million net per season.

At the moment, not much is known about the possible duration of the new contract of the two goalkeepers. Milan will try and get Gigio to sign an extension until 2025, but there are also other obstacles to be resolved in that such as the potential inclusion of a release clause.
