Tuttosport: Milan eye €20m Arsenal target as Bennacer replacement with Real Madrid circling

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan currently view Espanyol star Marc Roca as a replacement for Ismael Bennacer should he leave this summer, according to a report.

As per Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all interested in the Algeria international. Milan are clear in their stance that he must stay, but if even Real Madrid are making enquiries then it would be naive for the club not to be caught unaware.

That is why CEO Ivan Gazidis has targeted Marc Roca of Espanyol midfielder, a European champion with the Spanish U21 national team and a player with a valuation of around €20million.

He could also play with Bennacer, the report continues, but at the moment Roca seems to be an idea only in case the former Empoli man were to leave.

According to what was reported by Sport on Monday though, the player has a release clause of €40million and has already received an offer from Arsenal regarding a summer move.
