Paolo Maldini is set to meet with the agent of a Borussia Dortmund midfielder to try and close a deal, according to a report.
Today’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanLive) explains that in the coming weeks Hector Peris – the agent of Dortmund’s 16-year-old talent Vasco Walz – will be in Milan to meet the Rossoneri management and try to seal his move to Italy.
It has shades of the Pierre Kalulu deal as Walz is also on an expiring contract, arriving from Lyon last summer. The German midfielder – who also has Italian heritage – plays for Dortmund’s U17s and the Bundesliga side would like to renew his expiring contract.
However, the interest from abroad attracts the teenager a lot as in addition to Milan, an interest from Barcelona has leaked in recent weeks. Tuttosport gives Milan the advantage advantage and soon the management will speak with the prosecutor to seek an agreement on the contract.
