Tuttosport: Milan have concrete interest in Brazilian striker as Maldini ponders €20m investment

AC Milan are interested in signing Kaio Jorge from Santos and are weighing up the investment needed, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are looking for a young striker to add to the department, more specifically a talent who can grow calmly but at the same time be useful to the cause. Maldini’s list is full of profiles, but Kaio Jorge of Santos stands out.

Milan’s interest in the 19-year-old Brazilian is alive and concrete, and in recent days there was a meeting with his entourage involving some intermediaries, who revealed that it would take €10m to sign Jorge given his contract expires on December 31st with Santos.

However, €10m is also needed to pay the desire commissions to the agents. Maldini and Massara are reflecting on what to do, given that it would be an important investment for a 19-year-old, but one who is tipped to be a future star.

The most recent signings from Brazil did not work out too well as Lucas Paquetà to Leo Duarte failed to adapt, so spending 20 million on Kaio Jorge will require a lot of thought, while Juventus and Napoli are also keen.
