Tuttosport: Milan in talks over keeping Rebic – €25m agreement reached; swap possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over the permanent signing of Ante Rebic and are seemingly able to get him for a good price.

As Tuttosport reports on Friday (via MilanNews), Milan and Eintracht are at work to strike a deal involving André Silva, who is also on loan until 2021 and is having a good season.

The Portugal international has 15 goals in all competitions and the Bundesliga side would like to keep him beyond his loan deal too. The executives of the two companies are working to reach an agreement, also thanks to a verbal agreement that has already been reached regarding a €25million valuation of Rebic’s card.

However, there is an obstacle to overcome, namely the 50% clause on the future resale that Eintracht must pay to Fiorentina when the Croatian attacker is sold.

It will not be easy to find a meeting point, but the two clubs are working on it and are also using the willingness of the two players to stay where they are currently.

With the loan expiration in 2021 there is plenty of time to reach an agreement, but the sooner the better.
