Tuttosport: Milan interested in French striker who could have joined in 2018 – the background

The Rossoneri are always on the lookout for talented young players and it seems Janis Antiste is on their wish list, but not for the first time.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Antiste was invited to Milan with his family to visit the facilities at Milanello back in the spring of 2018. He met Stefano Luxoro, who then in charge of the transfer market of the youth sector at Milan.

Although an agreement had been reached, Antiste’s family wanted the striker to finish school in France and the operation then fell apart, because Toulouse subsequently changed management and gave him his first team debut.

He later signed his first professional contract, but Milan have not lost sight of him. Geoffrey Moncada and the other scouts have monitored his growth, and now it remains to be seen if it will be second time lucky.
