AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will take the players not involved in the World Cup out to the Middle East for a training camp, a report claims.
According to reports from this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), when the season stops for the World Cup in Qatar later this year, the Rossoneri players who will not be there representing their country will nonetheless travel east.
The rest of the squad will fly to Dubai where they will continue to train under Pioli’s orders for a week, and there could also be a friendly match against a local team to help the team stay in peak condition during the unusual pause.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic should also be in the group that will leave for Dubai as he continues his recovery from knee surgery with the objective of returning for the resumption of Serie A action after the tournament in Qatar is over.
