Tuttosport: Milan planning Dubai trip with friendlies during World Cup break

By Oliver Fisher -

A plan has emerged for what AC Milan will do during the World Cup with those players who are not involved with their national teams, a report claims.

There are plenty of Milan players who are hoping to be at the tournament this winter in Qatar such as Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud with France, Divock Origi, Alexis Saelemaekers and Charles De Ketelaere with Belgium, Rafael Leao with Portugal plus potentially Fikayo Tomori with England.

However, there are some shocks in terms of who didn’t manage to qualify such as Italy and Algeria, meaning that the likes of Sandro Tonali, Davide Calabria, Tommaso Pobega and Ismael Bennacer will all not feature.

According to reports from today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are planning on embarking on a mini tour to Dubai during the break for the World Cup which will be played in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December.

The Rossoneri are also considering the possibility of playing some friendlies in order not to lose match rhythm, to keep the players mentioned in top condition.
