Tuttosport: Milan player ratings for Torino win – Leao ‘unstoppable’; Tomori shaky

A number of AC Milan players have been given praise for their performance during last night’s win over Torino, in which the team scored four goals.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) has their ratings from the game, starting with Mike Maignan who got a 6 out of 10 after having a somewhat quiet evening, and Davide Calabria who received the same.

Malick Thiaw also had quite a quiet evening, so much so that every now and then he drove forward with the ball, scoring 6.5. Fikayo Tomori showed ‘some uncertainty’ despite Milan’s dominant display, getting a 5.5.

Theo Hernández got a 7 after scoring a lovely goal to make it 3-1, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek getting the same after a nice assist for the first goal. Rade Krunic showed his ‘administration’ in front of the defence, getting a 6.5, which was the same as Tijjani Reijnders got.

Christian Pulisic scored a 7 after another very impressive display in his first home start, while Olivier Giroud got a 6.5 for his brace from the penalty spot, and Rafael Leao got an 8 for his ‘unstoppable’ runs and tormenting Schuurs.

  1. I really liked what I saw from Tomori personally, besides what happened in the goal conceded but that seems to be our trademark issue (set pieces)

  2. Tomori will be juat fine. I think his decline is due to Tatarushanu, you can clearly see improvements since Maignon is back. We all know what he is capable of so dont try and find negatives in what is a very promissing positive start of the season

  3. Some journalists do have eyes. Go figure.
Tomori will have to work hard to get back to his lvls 2 years agi.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the new kid replaces him after winter in the starting 11

  4. Blaming Tata over Tomori’s flop is beyond delusional. He was screaming at Tatarusanu for his own mistakes I remember and when Maignan is back, he was giving Maignan a head. It’s like in street fight you compliment bigger guys and show your power on weaker people. Every game he has at least one big mistake since Mount humiliated him last season.

    1. Come on! Everyone has seen how shaky Tata was last season. We lost some matches because of his poor judgement to come out of post.
No CB is just the reason for cleansheets, its the team work between goalkeeper and defense.
Tomori is shaky last season, because opposition overloaded with 3forwards on 2CB’s,you can watch inter matches.
Goalkeeper saves the asses of défense line, its opposite durkng Tatarusanu last season, with maignan everything is fine.
Remember we must have defensive midfielder whose job is stop the attacks, we have none until now. We are playing lord krunic
God must save us against top teams

  5. Wasn’t that impressed with the start to Leao’s game. His crosses were out of place, and, s lot of times, he tried to do it all alone. I guess it’s because the attention is now on Pulisic and Reijnders. Surprised with the 8 points rating. Saw a lot of positives from the team game.

    1. Maybe you haven’t seen the full match.he have many number of crosses.the one reijnders missed should be a goal. Besides one penalty, one assist, many times he beat the defenders. He completly deserves the best rating. Just goals doesn’t give the rating, you should see numbers which help team.
