Rafael Leao was given the title of best player on the pitch during Milan’s 3-0 win over Cagliari by Tuttosport’s player ratings.
Ragnar Klavan’s own goal began the scoring after some fantastic individual work from Leao, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic doubled the advantage with a thunderbolt into the top corner.
Moments later Samu Castillejo fired past Alessio Cragno to complete the rout as the Rossoneri ended the season in the best possible way.
Pioli’s men could have had more in truth, as Ibrahimovic missed a penalty and an easy chance at the back post, but in the end it was a job well done for a side who won nine out of 12 games since Serie A resumed.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) rewarded Leao with a 7.5 on the scoreboard with the following comments: “The best game of his season comes at the end.”
There were ratings of 7 out of 10 for Ibrahimovic, Castillejo (who amassed a goal and an assist) and Calabria, while Kjaer, Gabbia, Bennacer, Kessié and Bonaventura all got 6.5 and the other players a 6.
