Tuttosport: Milan player ratings for Salernitana win – duo stand alone with 8s

By Oliver Fisher -

A number of AC Milan players have drawn praise from Tuttosport for their performance during yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi.

The paper (as seen below) have published their player ratings for the game, starting with goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu getting a 6 out of 10, while Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez all got a 6.5, and Fikayo Tomori got a 7.

Ismael Bennacer also received a 7 while his midfield partner Sandro Tonali was awarded an 8 for registering an assist and a goal. Alexis Saelemaekers scored a 6, with Brahim Diaz getting a 6.5 and Rafael Leao joining Tonali with the joint-highest score of 8.

Olivier Giroud was disappointing and got a 5.5, while substitutes Matteo Gabbia (6) and Charles De Ketelaere (5.5) didn’t set the world alight even though they were tasked with defending a lead and the Belgian had a shot very well saved by Ochoa that would have seen him get his first goal.

  1. What were you watching? He had at least 4 clear chances to score and did not convert on any of them. It almost came back to haunt them. If your a striker and your strength is finishing, then you have to finish.
