Tuttosport: The latest as Milan make progress for renewals of Kalulu and Tomori

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are not just looking to sign new players this summer, but also to renew the stars they already have in their squad. Currently, they are working on the renewals of Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori.

In the second half of this past season, Kalulu and Tomori formed a near-unbeatable partnership at the back and managed 9 (!) clean sheets in the last 11 games. In the same period, they conceded just 2 goals, which is staggering.

Therefore, it’s not exactly a surprise that Milan are eager to renew both of them. According to Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), Tomori has told his agents to find an agreement as soon as possible, while Kalulu will have his salary tripled from €0.4m per year.

Both are under contract with the club until 2025, meaning there is certainly no big rush in the negotiations. However, Milan are keen on rewarding them for what was a fantastic season and the renewals are not at risk. The key, of course, is the willingness of all parties to continue together.
