Tuttosport: Milan put forward €30m bid for Belgian playmaker but distance remains

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have identified Charles De Ketelaere as the right name to reinforce their attack and they have made a bid, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, the Rossoneri management are convinced by the 21-year-old and are willing to invest a substantial amount to snatch him from potential competition.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have put forward a bid of €30m, while the request from Club Brugge is for €35m plus bonuses. There is room for negotiation, but Premier League side Leicester City have entered the running and so things cannot drag on for too long.

We reported yesterday how the Rossoneri have opened a dialogue with Club Brugge and the Belgian club are open to selling for an amount around €30m, with the management convinced by the idea of investing in him after Geoffrey Moncada’s positive scouting reports on him.

  1. His market value by a few different estimates is literally over 30M, no way they will sell for that. Maybe 30M + easily reachable bonuses like after matches played, Milan going to CL next year and going to the knockout stages in CL.

    1. But at least we are going for the right players. Last year we were aiming for Szabiter and a lot of people were really up for it, one of the most useless players I have ever seen. Thankfully we didn’t throw money on him, but for players that you can’t find 2 of you need to pay a bit more.
