AC Milan’s attack failed to click again during last night’s draw with Torino as they were held to a second straight goalless draw, with few players getting praise.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) carries their player ratings from the game at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, and they believe that Mike Maignan was the best on the field for the Rossoneri as he made a great save in the second half on Vojvoda, and deserved a score of 7 out of 10.
Half a mark less went to Fikayo Tomori and Sandro Tonali – the anchors of the defence and midfield respectively – while Davide Calabria, Pierre Kalulu, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao got a 6.
A 5.5 went to Franck Kessie and the substitute Junior Messias, while a 5 was given to striker Olivier Giroud and winger Alexis Saelemaekers. The paper conclude by saying the worst player on the field was Brahim Diaz, the author of another very disappointing game worthy of a 4.5.
If Brahim Dias is worth 4.5, the man who put him in the field is worth even less.
Krunic is a better option at this point. At least Krunic went get thrown down to the ground like a rag doll the way Diaz always seems to get pushed around so easily.
agree, IF Ibra plays again I would have him at the 10, Giroud actually in the game against Torino was almost at the 10 on counter attacks with Saele. and Theo advancing with him distributing, You need a tall player with a full field of vision.
