AC Milan are ready to reward full-back Davide Calabria for his performances this season with a new deal and a pay-rise, a report claims.
One player who has become one of those pillars is Davide Calabria, with the right-back having rebounded from a difficult 2019-20 campaign due to injuries, suspensions and poor form to make the starting spot his and ultimately win the battle against Andrea Conti, who left for Parma yesterday.
According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri management are focused on the renewals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu as their deals are due to expire on 30 June.
However, soon they will also have to start evaluating the contracts that expire in 2022 with Calabria among those. The paper suggests that there will be no problems though, as the full-back should extend until 2025 with an increase in salary from his current €1.1m net per season to €2m.
