Tuttosport: Milan recover Rebic for Sampdoria game – latest on Leao, Manduzkic and other injuries

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan still have several injury problems that Stefano Pioli must battle, but slowly he is getting some useful pieces back ahead of the run-in.

As Tuttosport writes (via MilanNews), the most important news from the last few hours is the return of Ante Rebic. Yesterday he worked with his team-mates at Milanello and therefore has fully recovered for the game on Saturday lunchtime against Sampdoria.

The Croatian will be available not only because he solved his hip problem but also due to the fact he had his suspension for the red card against Napoli reduced to one game, which he served against Fiorentina. Rebic should start starting against Sampdoria, forming an attack with Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing, Hakan Calhanoglu the No.10 and Ibrahimovic the centre-forward.

In the next few hours, news is also expected regarding the conditions of Rafael Leao and Mario Mandzukic, who will both undergo a new medical check-up to understand when they too can return to training in groups. As for Romagnoli and Calabria, it will still take some time to see them again on the pitch.
