In the summer, AC Milan are expected to reinforce the attack amid the goalscoring struggles we have seen at the start of this year. Several youngsters are on their radar, such as Mateo Retegui and Gianluca Scamacca.
Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aren’t exactly getting any younger and Milan need to plan for the future. Furthermore, the attackers have struggled at the start of this year, scoring just seven goals in total. Giroud is the best with three goals, but this is clearly not enough.
As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan intend to rejuvenate their attack in the summer and they have quite a few targets. Noah Okafor and Luis Openda have been mentioned before, but there are three more that should be taken into consideration.
The players in question are Folarin Balogun, Mateo Retegui and Gianluca Scamacca. The latter isn’t finding enough space at West Ham, while Retegui made his debut for Italy yesterday and found the back of the net. All three would be good signings, we just have to wait and see what Milan’s next move will be.
Greška Milana što nije uzeo Di Balu i ostavio Romagniolija !! Sa tom dvojicom oni nebi imali nikakvih problema ove godine ! Borili bi se sa Napolijem za vrh ! Ovako upitna LP dogodine !!!
I believe that midfield is missing something that makes it harder for the attack. Maybe it’s CDK. Hopefully he gets integrated asap
IF we continue with a 4 2 3 1 I think our best bet is to get scamacca. The only one who can hold up the ball up there, how’s the feet and skill to involve every player around him and closer to goal is a real threat. He would suit milan best, having a similar profile to ibrahimovic. If we’re to go after a new formation than any of them would be good. But we definitely need to also strengthen our attacking midfield role
blablabla. At the end we will sign another Origi style.
Scamacca. Just do it.
No one other than Moyes understands why Scamacca isn’t playing for West Ham. He scores when he starts.
There is no option with the array of ability out there that can match Scamacca. That’s not just because we have to shop in the bargain bin, but because there are a handful of players in the world with the combination of technical ability, speed, size, strength, aerial threat and hold up play.
He a less spectacular but more versatile (in terms of the ability to play roles in a system) Zlatan.
What? You have to be joking. Scamacca scored 3 goals. He is maybe and maybe poor man’s Zlatan. I told this a year ago and I will say again, waste of money, he had 1 good season and that will be his best season. Even in that season he was inconsistent and had 5-6 games where he wasn’t there. Dude is a myth, I am not sure who is making it up, maybe because of tattoos? 😀
5-6 games in a row, more than once.
I’ll admit I overlooked the stretch of games started. I though it was only a few.
It doesn’t lessen my faith in the player.
