AC Milan are still in talks with Toulouse to try and wrap up the signing of winger Amine Adli, according to a report.
Adli is certainly a player whose stock is high at the moment given that he amassed eight goals and seven assists in 34 Ligue 2 games for Toulouse, being named the league’s player of the season for his exploits both as a right winger and as a more traditional playmaker.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) talks about Milan’s strategies in view of the summer transfer window and confirms that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are still locked in talks over Adli.
The 21-year-old is very much admired by club’s scouting department and the fact Toulouse failed to secure of promotion to Ligue 1 could be a factor that plays in Milan’s favour, should the forward have more ambitious plans in mind given his age and his undoubted potential.
