Tuttosport: Milan target Sassuolo starlet and €25m Arsenal-linked Canadian sensation

AC Milan are evaluating the prospect of signing two talented forwards ahead of the 2020-21 season, according to a report.

Newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanLive) explains on Monday that Milan have earmarked Sassuolo-owned striker Gianluca Scamacca and Gent forward Jonathan David as possible targets for the upcoming window.

Scamacca – on loan at Ascoli -has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri for some time, having scored seven goals in 23 Serie B appearances, plus four goals in two Coppa Italia games.

The 21-year-old has already cracked the Italy U21 national team and is being followed by Benfica and Southampton, as well as by other Serie A teams.

Meanwhile, David has been a great protagonist for Gent this season. He has amassed an impressive 23 goals scored in 40 appearances collected between the league and various cups, with 10 assists too.

The 20-year-old Canadian is among the revelations of the Belgian national team. Milan and other European clubs are also target his purchase for the next summer transfer market, with Inter, Lazio, Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all credited with interest.

In Spain, Mundo Deportivo writes that Barcelona are closing in on a €25m deal.
