Tuttosport: Milan to hold talks with Valencia this week over €30m-rated midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are negotiating on several fronts to try and complete the squad available to Stefano Pioli and they could go back in for Yunus Musah, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), there are two names on Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada’s notebook with the first being Tijjani Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar.

However, the management are also expected to keep trying for Musah too. His club Valencia are asking around €30m to sell the American midfielder, a figure that Milan are not willing to spend and would like to lower to around €22-25m plus bonuses.

The next few hours could be decisive in trying to understand if there are the conditions to continue the negotiation with the LaLiga side, who are in a difficult financial situation and thus must sell some players.

Regarding Reijnders, new contacts are expected between Milan and AZ Alkmaar during the week, as they are continuing to ask for €25m as a fixed amount.

    1. Signs are pointing in that direction at the moment. Looks like we’ll be playing a much more attacking brand of football this coming season after the drop off suffered when sticking to the 4-2-3-1 system.

  1. Why don’t they just go for a cheaper but proven Nicolas Dominguez. Even Pioli asked for him acc. to reports. He’d be probably half a price of Musah. They can add that money to get Balogun if they want US players spearheading.

    1. Nah fck that. They’re working in forced harmony now 😂😂😂. It’s not only about Pioli but everyone has to agree so I assume they’ll pick up who Moncada wants. All jokes aside, Dominguez is a good back up tho and knows the league.
