Tuttosport: Milan to play four-man defence vs. Juventus; Calabria and Conti battle

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will field a four-man back line for the trip to face Juventus on Sunday despite reports suggesting otherwise, it is claimed.

The Rossoneri head to Turin looking to become the first side to go to the Allianz Stadium and take a point this season, with the Bianconeri having won all five home games to begin the campaign.

Milan currently sit in the bottom half of the table and have lost two of four games under new head coach Stefano Pioli, leading to suggestions that he could switch to a three-man back line in order to help the deficiencies at full-back.

The proposal was for Ricardo Rodriguez to play as a left-sided centre-back with Theo Hernandez as a wing-back, plus Andrea Conti on the opposite flank.

However, according to Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), Leo Duarte will play alongside captain Alessio Romagnoli in the heart of defence.

Theo Hernandez will once again be the left-back, while the only battle is for the right-back spot between Calabria and Conti.
